WHO I AM AND WHAT MOVES ME

In addition to my own daily body practice and my great Lindy Hop hobby, I have taught Lindy Hop and yoga for several years, currently train an over-60 women’s group and work in my practice and in psychiatric clinics as a dance therapist.

I myself have had many experiences with personal development. Mostly not voluntarily. I often needed a crisis to take the next step. Bullying at work, unwanted childlessness, to name a few examples. Every crisis has brought me further and ultimately led to training in movement and dance therapy.

The training ultimately gave me a tool that enables me to use my knowledge and experience from courses and further training over the last 20 years together with my life experience to accompany and support people in their processes in the best possible way.

More important to me than any concept, theory or method is the fundamental acceptance of a person exactly as they are. As a companion in your own personal development process, I offer you space. A space in which you don’t have to be able to do or achieve anything, but can simply be with everything that you are.

DANCE AND MOVEMENT THERAPY

In a Group

A movement class designed to bring the benefits of dance to people with different physical and mental abilities in a safe, fun and non-judgmental environment. Dancing allows movement despite injury – combined with all the benefits and music that brings us to our younger, inner selves. Dance offers a way to achieve harmony between body and feeling, between inside and outside.

I combine traditional dance techniques, yoga, jazz, swing, tango argentino with integrated exercises to improve the body’s agility, flexibility and strength while connecting body, mind and soul. But above all, it’s fun!

Single

90% of our perception is at home in the unconscious. Are you a movement person? Curious about accessing the unconscious through the body? I offer you empathic guidance with the help of simple movement methods (e.g. simple yoga exercises, relaxation techniques, resilience-promoting techniques). My knowledge is based on the movement therapy method according to Anna Hailprin / Arnold Mindell / Ulfried Geuter.

An exemplary procedure is to start with a personal conversation. We enter into a very individual space of experience, always taking your needs into account. Often, slowing down or slowing down brings access to deeper awareness. Sharing what you have experienced and integrating it into your everyday life rounds off your experience.

The small and fine practice is located in Zurich (5 minutes from Stadelhofen).

I look forward to hearing from you and will be happy to send you more information and practical examples.

Yoga

In my courses, I create an oasis to arrive, find inner peace and find yourself. With asanas, breathing exercises and meditation, you will bring your body, mind and soul into harmony. You will gather energy and serenity and find new clarity, acceptance and mindfulness within yourself. This is what I want to convey in my yoga classes – with ease and fun.

MY Story ABOUT HAVING CHILDREN

Meine Kinderwunschgeschichte

I underwent fertility treatment for several years. When I managed to get pregnant once, I lost it again after 3 months. This was followed by a path of grief, processing and increasingly saying goodbye to the desire to have children. It was by no means a straightforward process, but rather an oscillation of desire, frustration and attempts at reorientation and reconsideration. These experiences have allowed me to develop new perspectives.

With the background of my personal story of wanting to have children, I offer you an offer or support that I would have wished for myself at the time. It is important to remember that every life story is completely individual.

SUPPORT DURING THE FERTILITY PHASE – OUT OF THE TABOO

Look instead of looking away

Listening instead of overhearing

Sensing instead of pushing away difficult feelings

WHAT do I offer you?

In a very personal setting, we will take an in-depth look at your unfulfilled desire to have children/childlessness with bodywork. This allows you to get to know yourself better and find your own personal approach. There may also be an opportunity to develop new perspectives.

HOW does this work, for example?

I offer empathic support with the help of body/movement methods for easy access to the body (e.g. simple yoga exercises, relaxation techniques, resilience-promoting techniques). This can, for example, lead to a deeper and holistic understanding of what is associated with your desire to have children / childlessness. Perhaps a new perspective supported by access via the body can help you to feel how you personally feel about it, what you need, what strengthens you or how you manage to deal with powerlessness, for example.

An exemplary process is to start with a personal conversation. We enter your space of experience individually, taking your needs into account. Often, slowing down or slowing down is the only way to access a deeper awareness. Sharing what you have experienced and integrating it into your everyday life rounds off your experience.

EXAMPLE

A 30-year-old woman told us about a feeling of powerlessness that exhausted her in everyday life. She had undergone several unsuccessful fertility treatment cycles and did not want to try again. During counseling, she developed the image of a strong mother lion with angel wings – she can feel her physically. With the help of this image, she found access to the strength she knew she had and gained new courage to face life. She decided to put her earlier yoga training to good use and offer a course in the neighborhood.
